Your website should make a good first impression to the person visiting it. This means you need to be intentional about how it looks, what it says, and the visuals that are used. In this blog, we are happy to share four areas for you to think about for your website.

Consistent Design

Keep your website design consistent. Be sure that your colors, fonts, and branding flow seamlessly from page to page. This provides a more enjoyable experience for the viewer and also gives your business a more credible look. If your website looks organized and on-brand that reflects well on your business. When your website is hard to read, hard to navigate, and doesn’t have clear branding, it often drives people away from your site. When you have an attractive website, it translates to a pleasant user experience which means that users are going to stay on the site longer to look at your products and/or services.

Optimize for Mobile

Do not forget to ensure that your website is optimized for mobile. It is vital that your site looks good on both desktop and mobile, but since more people use their smartphones than their computers you cannot overlook the mobile experience.

SEO

SEO is an important part of digital marketing and your website plays a key role in it. In a previous blog, we discussed why your business needs SEO. One area to focus on for SEO is your website’s copy. You want to make sure that the copy is easy to read and speaks to your audience. The more engaging the copy, the longer people will stay on your site. The time users spend on your site is excellent for your SEO. Additionally, you also want to keep SEO in mind when writing website copy to ensure that your site’s pages are as strong as possible. For more SEO-related tips check out our blog on the topic. Have a Strong CTA

When creating each webpage, we recommend that you have a strong call to action (CTA) on each page and that the CTA is eye-catching and easily clickable. This will help direct website traffic to the areas that you want to be seen the most.
