Today is Military Spouse Appreciation Day! This holiday falls on the Friday before Mother’s Day each year. This year our team has three military spouses on it and we’d love for you to get to know them in honor of today.

Keesler Air Force Base in Ocean Springs, MS. My husband and I loved living on the ocean! - What is a lesson that you have learned from military life?
Flexibility and that God will always make it work! It was hard to let go of control. - What do you love most about Blossom?
Being able to have my daughter home with me!

United States Air Force, 19 years - Where has your favorite duty station been and why?
Beale Air Force Base in Northern California. You can’t beat the area- mountains, ocean, farmland, and wine country all within 2 hours of driving. Not to mention the amazing community there! - What is a lesson that you have learned from military life?
Resilience – military life can be so hard at times. It can bring you anger and sadness, but excitement and joy at the same time. Leaving your home for a new one, or saying goodbye to friends at one duty station for another. But it’s the ability to go through these dark times and come back out on the other side that makes us that much stronger. - What do you love most about Blossom?
Working with other military spouses who understand the daily struggle of the life we live and being able to continue my career wherever the military takes us. Plus, the amazing team we have!

Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX! My husband and I loved the culture, the people, the food, the weather, and the gorgeous desert sunsets. - What is a lesson that you have learned from military life?
I have learned to “expect the unexpected” and embrace the uncertainty of military life. It isn’t always easy to do but it has made me a stronger person. - What do you love most about Blossom?
That we are a 100% remote company so I can continue to work for Blossom no matter where the Army sends my family!
