While your website and your social media pages are separate entities, that doesn’t mean that they can’t work together to help your business grow. There are many ways to integrate social media into your website so that your clients can follow your business in a streamlined way. Here are four ways you can integrate your social media into your website:

1. Social Media Buttons

Creating social media buttons on your website is a quick and easy way to allow people to find your social channels. You can decide to create multiple buttons to highlight many pages, simply choose a few, or include buttons for all of your pages. For some businesses, it may be better to have one or two whereas others may need all of their channels available. Either way, your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube (and more!) can all be linked to your website through buttons.

2. Sharing Buttons

Sharing buttons allow the people viewing your website to easily share the content on their social media pages. Sharing buttons are usually used for blogs but can also be used for products that you are selling. Consumers today love to share the products and services that they are passionate about on their own social media accounts and having sharing buttons on your website makes it simple for them to do.

3. Embed Your Feeds on Your Site

Depending on your business and brand it could be beneficial to embed one of your social media feeds on to your site. Your Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest feeds are all examples of excellent options to consider for this. By using Instagram or Pinterest you can create a gallery of images on your website without having to start from scratch. For Twitter, you can highlight the things that your company is talking about by highlighting your tweets right on your site.

4. Social Sign Ins

Allowing users to sign in through one of their social media accounts, most frequently Facebook, lets people browse, buy, and comment without having to make a new login account. Many times having to create a new log in prevents people from fully interacting with a website so this is an easy way to solve this problem. With a social sign in, someone can use their existing login and in turn make a purchase, leave a review, or comment on your blog more quickly.

One more key aspect to consider is the need for intentional social media content. You want to make sure that your content is on-brand and matches your website, the images or copy include links or access to your website, and that it highlights the products, services, and blogs on your website.

You don’t need to implement all of these at once. Take a moment and see which ones would best serve your business and then begin there. If you ever feel stuck, know that Blossom is here to help you with your website and social media needs.
